The Players Theatre Co. Presents: Noel Coward’s Private Lives
Called one of the most sophisticated, entertaining plays ever written, Noel Coward’s “Private Lives” is a 1930s comedy of manners. A divorced couple who, while honeymooning with their new spouses, discover that they are staying in adjacent rooms at the same hotel. Despite a perpetually stormy relationship, they realize that they still have feelings for each other.

Isaac Conroe Founder’s Day
The event includes an Isaac Conroe Look Alike Contest in two age brackets-14 and under, and over 14 years of age with a cash prize. The city of Conroe is named after Isaac Conroe, who founded the town in the 1870s as he set up a sawmill in the then wilderness north of Houston. He went on to become the town’s first postmaster and involved in the city in many ways.

The Players Theatre Co. Presents: Fiddler On The Roof
Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

Woodforest Charity Run 2025
This year’s race will be in-person or virtual run/walk consisting of a 5K / 10K on Saturday, September 20th in scenic downtown Conroe, TX. The registration fee will include a custom dri-fit shirt commemorating the event, which will be available during packet pickup at Fleet Feet located at 1925 Hughes Landing Blvd Ste 900 in The Woodlands, TX 77380 on September 18th from 10 am to 5 pm; at the Woodforest National Bank located at 400 West Davis on Friday September 19th from 9 am to 5:00 pm; and race day morning from 6 am to 7:45 am. As always, net proceeds will benefit the Woodforest Charitable Foundation®.
